Impressions of Baden-Württemberg, Germany
The south of Germany consists of two Länder, two of the sixteen administrative regions of which the Federal Republic of Germany is composed. But the two, Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria, are more than just administrative entities, they have also very outspoken cultural identities of their own, the former with historical culture cities like Heidelberg, Freiburg and Konstanz and comprising the northern shores of the Bodensee as well as the large Black Forest area of pristine and beautiful hill country, a backdrop of crisp and sparkling landscapes between Rhine and Danube.
Before visiting the place of your choice:
The minster or cathedral of Konstanz was built over a period from the 11th to the 17th century, which explains its lack of architectural uniformity, featuring anything from Romanesque to Renaissance style elements on the outside and Gothic vaults and Baroque decoration on the inside.
