The report on French speaking Belgium, Wallonia, is definitely not comprehensive yet. Many little jewels, cities like Liège, Dinant and Huy, castles like Beloeil, ancient abbeys like Orval, and unspoilt scenes of nature in the Semois valley are still missing. We are still working on gathering photographic material! But, on the other hand, there is already so much to show for that even this still very incomplete report reflects a Walloon identity, displaying history and culture in places like Tournai, Namur and Waterloo, while the legendary carnival celebrations of La Louvière and Binche are no less than a vivid explosion of folklore rooted in traditions and symbolism.
